Cape Tribulation - where the Daintree rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef

We live at Cape Tribulation in The Daintree, and grow rare and exotic tropical fruit. You can stay with us in eco-certified bed & breakfast accommodation, and also visit to do our eco-certified fruit tasting and farm tour. Cape Tribulation is two hours drive north of Cairns.

Our Bed and Breakfast accommodation - two tree-house style timber cottages - are built overlooking Wet Tropics World Heritage Daintree Rainforest, and located only 10 minutes walk from the beach, at Cape Tribulation.

Cape Tribulation is located 2 hours north of Cairns in the Daintree Rainforest

The tropical climate at Cape Tribulation can grow rare and exotic tropical fruit from the Amazon, South East Asia and the Caribbean. We have over 150 species from around the world, and run our farm on permaculture principles, with help from WWOOFAS. Our farm is certified as an organic farm.

We offer an exotic tropical fruit tasting and farm tour every day, at Cape Tribulation. You taste at least 10 different rare fruit , learn how to prepare them, and then walk through the orchard, to see the fruit on the trees. The tropical climate at Cape Tribulation provides an amazing variety of fruit to taste all year.
